About the team
Rion COmmerford
I’m a retired Paramedic with a heart to serve people. I grew up in Southern Commiefornia, and in 2024 moved to Eastern Tennessee to be a part of an amazing revival happening in the local church. I’m a son, husband, father, brother, disciple, and student to some of the most amazing people on the planet. The start of CommTac stems from my joy of engineering and my passion for all things 2A. The intersection of those resulted in the “Universal Sidecar.” I hope this product proves to be as useful for you as it has been for me, and I hope to be able to bring many more solutions to tactical preparedness.
The short term goal for CommTac is to serve my family and equip people with a means to be more prepared to defend their families and those that can’t defend themselves. I hope that in the process I’ll have opportunities to share the love of Christ with customers and honor Yahweh with this business. Free bibles and charitable giving have been part of this company since I first drafted the budgets and will be an integral part of how we do business. Every morning before I start work I read prayer requests and supplicate accordingly. I truly believe that prayer is a more powerful force than any of us could hope to be.
The long term goal for CommTac is to be a vessel that allows me to do the things I’m truly passionate about. Hurricane Helene really opened my eyes to the fact that we can’t count on the government to save us. Having a full-time job, I had to sit on the sidelines and watch some truly spectacular volunteer efforts on weekdays and try to make up for it on the weekends. My most audacious prayer currently is to do well enough with CommTac to be able to free up my weekdays to pursue philanthropic search and rescue missions.
brady redick
Born and raised in Southern California, Brady grew up on the job site from a young age. With a master carpenter as a father, he learned the best practices and standards for remarkable craftsmanship, as well as the diligence and efficiency of getting the job done at a pace that homeowners are thrilled with.
In 2021, Brady and his family moved across the country to the Johnson City area to be part of a growing church body, as well as to reestablish his family in an area that aligned with his core values: family first, slower paced, patriotic and a place that encourages growth.
Brady and Rion have known each other for a decade, and have worked together to bring the best Universal Sidecar to the market. That has meant putting it through the ringer, including running it over with Brady’s Ford F250 Superduty.
Brady Redick is a builder and a breaker. He thinks critically when faced with challenges, and is always looking for the best tools to help get the job done excellently.
The goal is to produce a product that you love that will stand the test of life’s aggression.
